Larson Electronics
Larson Electronics manufactures the
Magnalight 12 volt spotlights with magnetic base and 12 volt searchlights with magnetic base with magnetic bases and 16 foot cords in Dallas, TX. These
industrial grade 12 volt spotlights
have been a staple of the cable, telephone and electric utility industry since
1967. Magnalight has since its beginnings expanded this to include the military/law enforcement
industries, federal and local governments, and emergency and first responder industries as well.
We carry a complete line of
HID off road and HID
equipment lights, including the Acro Light line.
HID flood lights with
permanent and magnetic mount options work on 12 and 24 volt DC systems and
provide illumination that extends 250 feet. The permanent mount and magnetic

GOLIGHT CONDITIONS:

The Golight remote controlled lights are made to be used outside in bad weather. Golights are UV proof and weatherproof. You can splash them with water and leave them in the rain. They are normally used on vehicles, heavy equipment and boats.
GOLIGHT MATERIALS:
- Housing - ASA Luran heat resistant, high impact, weather resistant housing with highest quality UV resistant material.
- Gears and transmission parts/engineering Lexan, and brass prevents rust, corrosion and oxidation that could impair performance.
- All connectors are weatherproof meet OEM vehicle manufacturer specifications
- Light gauge 16 foot wiring with multi-spring thin style cigarette plug.
GOLIGHT REMOVABLE MAGNETIC SHOE BASE:
- Golight slides on and off base of the light. When the shoe is installed a spring loaded button pops up locking the light into the base. The shoe base completely encapsulates the suction cup base
- When the base is removed, the light can be mounted using the suction cup and the locking lever on the side to activate the suction mount.
- The magnetic shoe has the holes in it to be permanently mounted as well.
- Small bar magnets are imbedded in the shoe base and covered with rubber.
- Magnetic base offers 40 pounds of magnetic grip. This is suitable for temporary positioning on vehicles, but not appropriate for moving vehicles. Please see our GL-2000-M or GL-2051-M for 200 pound grip magnetic mount alternatives suitable for moving vehicles.
Once the shoe base is removed from the Golight, a suction cup mount can be used to attach the Golight to smooth surfaces. The suction cup mount is released via side mount lever. The suction cup is not suitable for moving vehicles, boats, etc.
GOLIGHT HANDLE:
- Golight’s swivel handle on the top of the light enables the operator to move the Golight to different positions easily.
