Larson Electronics
Larson Electronics manufactures the
Magnalight 12 volt spotlights with magnetic base and 12 volt searchlights with magnetic base with magnetic bases and 16 foot cords in Dallas, TX. These
industrial grade 12 volt spotlights
have been a staple of the cable, telephone and electric utility industry since

The WALTP-2XWP400MCE LED light tower provides high intensity output and telescoping tripod tower versatility for operators looking for an economical yet effective alternative to halogen and metal halide light tripods. Each LED emitter on this extendable tripod tower produces illumination comparable to a 400 watt metal halide without the high heat, fragile construction, or high energy use. Together, these units can cover an area similar to our 400 watt metal halide lights at a fraction of the cost and energy use.
The WALTP-2XWP400MCE LED light tower from Magnalight produces a wide flood beam of light while drawing only 40 watts @.45 amps at 120 VAC per light head, for a combined total of 80 watts @.90 amps on 120VAC current. The light assembly consists of two led light heads, each with twelve 3.3 watt LEDs paired with high purity specular optics, mounted to a single light fixture bracket. Each of these LED light heads produces a light output comparable to that of a 400 watt metal halide lamp.
This light tower is constructed of aluminum and provides for both height adjustment and leg placement assuring a steady and stable platform. Included with this unit are two, 40 watt LED lamps and 50 feet of abrasive and oil resistant SOOW cord terminating in a straight blade plug. The light fixtures can be removed by releasing the hand knob and sliding the light and mounting bracket off of the tripod center support while the legs can be collapsed, aiding in deployment, storage and transport. This tower is rated for use in wet areas and marine environments and operates on 120-277 VAC. |

The WALTP-2XWP400MCE lamp fixture consists of two LED light heads mounted atop a telescoping tripod tower. Each Light head contains twelve, 3.3 watt LEDs housed within a waterproof aluminum housing that is powder coated for added durability and resistance to corrosion. These housings incorporate integral cooling fins for efficient heat dissipation and increased LED longevity. The LED lamp assemblies are protected by shatterproof polycarbonate lenses which are secured to the housings with a waterproof seal. 1/2" waterproof connectors provide a secure and sealed power connection point and rounds out these fixture's weather resistant construction.
Each of the LED light heads on the WALTP-2XWP400MCE produce a light beam that is longer and narrower than a standard Rab Floodzilla 250W Metal Halide (see comparison chart below). The beam will illuminate an area nearly twice the distance as a standard 250W metal halide flood light, but is 30% narrower than the metal halide flood.
The heavy duty aluminum tripod is durable, lightweight and adjustable to any length between 7 feet and 13 feet. The heavy duty construction of this tripod and the light weight of the LED light heads help to make this a very stable unit, even in windy conditions.
Each LED emitter on this unit is wired independantly, allowing operators to run each light individually or in tandem if desired. Magnalight provides 50 feet of SOOW cord as well as a high voltage, straight blade plug for powering the unit.
There are several applications for this telescoping LED light tower. This LED light can be easily stored and carried in a work truck for rapid deployment as a scene light for first responders to downed lines, main breaks, or accident scenes. Other applications include temporary maintenance operations, tank cleaning, power washing and other maintenance applications where general area lighting is not available. Temporary event organizers will find value in these telescoping LED lights for general area lighting in outdoor arenas.
With the 40-watt LED heads, there is no warm up period, the light can be cycled on and off without any reduction in lamp life, there is no glass or filament to shatter or break, and the solid state LED design provides 50,000 hours of operation.

3 year warranty replacement on this LED light. After 30 days, the customer ships the failed LED light and/or LED bulb to Larson Electronics’ Magnalight at their expense. If the failure is a manufacturer defect, we will ship a new replacement to the customer. If failure occurs within 30 days of receipt, Larson Electronics Magnalight will provide a return label via email to the customer. When the failed light is returned, Magnalight will ship a new replacement. |
