Larson Electronics manufactures the
Magnalight 12 volt spotlights with magnetic base and 12 volt searchlights with magnetic base with magnetic bases and 16 foot cords in Dallas, TX. These
industrial grade 12 volt spotlights
have been a staple of the cable, telephone and electric utility industry since
1967. Magnalight has since its beginnings expanded this to include the military/law enforcement

The Magnalight HUL-18-HID-RED-C Camouflage Spotlight is a rugged and effective HID spotlight designed to provide users with a powerful, durable, and easy to use source of reliable light. This spotlight has a 35 watt HID bulb which produces a light beam approximately 2400’ long by 80’ wide, use of the red lens knocks down the beam to 1600' long. This spotlight includes a detachable 16 foot coil cord with cigarette plug and a removable adhesive backed red lens for hunting use.
This durable and weatherproof spotlight is ruggedly designed to withstand heavy duty use and includes a 16 foot coil cord and cigarette plug adapter to allow connection to any vehicle or ATV equipped with a cigarette plug. This light contains a single 35 watt HID bulb paired with a precision aluminum reflector and borosilicate hardened glass lens to produce a powerful 3200 lumen, 15 million candlepower light beam that reaches 2400 feet in length and 80 feet in width. However, while using the red hunting lens, the beam is dropped down to 1600' in length. This beam is strong enough to allow operators to read signs, license plates, addresses and other similar markings at the far end of its total range.
This spotlight is built for durability and comfort with an impact resistant nylon housing, an ergonomically designed 5 inch tall polycarbonate handle that matches the contours of your hand, and a light head that can be adjusted vertically. The 5.5 inch diameter lamp and reflector assembly is protected by a borosilicate hardened glass lens that is sealed against water and dust to provide an IP67 rating and weatherproof protection. Included with this spotlight are adhesive backed, red polymer lens covers that can be simply placed over the spotlight lens to produce a red beam for hunting applications. Applying the red lens reduces output slightly, yet still results in a strong red beam capable of reaching much farther than comparable halogen units. These red lenses are applied like a sticker and can be simply pulled off the lens to return the unit to its full white light output.
A simple on/off toggle switch is located on the side of the handle for easy operation and power options include 12 or 24 volt DC versions for use with most common vehicle, boat or ATV electrical systems. This spotlight is finshed in a camouflage design to provide added stealth when used for hunting vermin and predators and allows the unit to more easily blend in with the natural surroundings.

Durability-Convenience: The HUL-18-HID-RED-C Camouflage Spotlight is constructed of impact resistant materials including an impact resistant nylon housing and polycarbonate handle. The lamp assembly contains an aluminum reflector and borosilicate hardened glass lens. The lamp assembly is sealed against water and dust and the entire unit is IP67 rated waterproof to 1 meter.
Each HUL-18-HID-RED-C Camouflage Spotlight comes with a detachable 16 foot coil cord with cigarette plug. The cord is detached via a weatherproof, 2 pin Deutsch connector which easily and securely attaches and detaches the coil cord from the spotlight. Other cords, including 21 foot cords with ring terminals (C-21RT), 16 foot cord with spring battery clamps (alligator clips) (C-16BC) and a 16 foot straight cord with cigarette plug (C-16CP) are available. This light can be ordered in either 12 volt or 24 volt configuration, allowing it to be used with any vehicle or ATV equipped with a cigarette plug. Choose voltage below when ordering.
Versatility: The entire unit weighs only 1.2 lbs and comes with adhesive red lenses to convert the beam to red output for hunting applications. The light head is mounted to the handle with an adjustable hinge that allows the head to be adjusted vertically. The five inch tall handle is ergonomically designed to fit the contours of your hand for a comfortable grip. This unit is ideal for predator and varmint hunting as well as military, security and law enforcement use and any application that requires an extremely durable and effective source of portable illumination. |
