We carry a complete line of

HID flood lights with
permanent and magnetic mount options work on 12 and 24 volt DC systems and
provide illumination that extends 250 feet. The permanent mount and magnetic

The Magnalight EPL-FL1524-50-1523 Hazardous Area Fluorescent Work light is F.M. approved Class 1 Division1 Groups C and D and Class II Division 1 groups E, F and G. With a 2 foot long 15 watt fluorescent lamp, this hazardous location light provides a very wide flood beam which can be suitable for paint spray booth inspection or general portable lighting in confined spaces like fuel tanks or grain storage areas.
This 2 foot long 15 watt explosion proof fluorescent work light from Magnalight.com comes complete with an explosion proof cord and inline ballast that reduces lamp head weight. This hazardous location area light features a rugged, non-sparking aluminum casing and unique rod cage and produces cool, glare-free, shadowless light that maximizes safety in hazardous locations and maximizes lighting efficiency with built-in metal reflectors. Fluorescent lights are popular in paint prep, painting and post-paint inspection operations, due to the even white color light produced. The light output, color and evenness of coverage make fluorescent lights also popular for a wide variety of close quarter work and inspection activities.
These particular units also come standard with an explosion proof twist-lock plug. The plug is Class I, Division I & II and Class II, Division I & II rated. In order to complete the seal, operator must take twist-lock explosion proof plug and connect to an explosion proof outlet receptacle. Connecting to a regular 120VAC outlet renders the plug useless and should only be done when connecting the light outside of the explosion proof environment.

The 15-watt fluorescent lamp used in this unit provides as much illumination as higher-wattage incandescent lamps without the associated heat, reducing the chances of accidents or burns. This lamp has an inline isolated ballast which reduces lamp head weight, an impact resistant tube shield with specially designed annealed glass and an aluminum hook for easy overhead mounting. The light is designed so that the operator can easily replace the lamp or starter if required. The 50 foot long Class 1, Division 1 rated SOOW 16/3 AWG cord and explosion proof slip-ring housing meets federal specification JC-580A. This explosion proof fluorescent hand lamp can be used within hazardous locations rated Class1 Division 1 and II making it ideal for hazardous work areas where a ready source of easily managed lighting is desired.
