The EPL-TP-1x150LED-100 Explosion Proof LED Light from Magnalight is rated Class 1 Division 1 Groups C and D and uses a 16 inch LED light head to produce 10,000 lumens of light while drawing only 150 watts.
The EPL-TP-1x150LED-100 is a quadpod mounted explosion proof LED light and provides 8,000 square feet of work area coverage with 10,000 lumens of light output. This portable LED quadpod light has a removable LED light head measuring 16 inches in diameter mounted on top of a two wheeled steel quadpod for easy positioning of the unit from one area of the workspace to another. The LED light head on this unit produces a wide flood pattern of light that is ideal for illuminating enclosed areas such as tanks and containers and is suitable for hazardous locations where flammable vapors, gases and dusts may be present.

This portable LED light quadpod is comprised of a removable 16 inch LED light head mounted atop a solid rubber wheeled cart fabricated from non sparking aluminum. The non sparking, adjustable and collapsible quadpod can be extended to twelve feet and collapsed to four feet while wheels on the base enable the operator to tilt the unit back and simply roll the entire assembly to a new location. The explosion proof LED light fixture can be removed by releasing the hand knob and sliding the light and mounting bracket off of the quadpod support while the legs can be collapsed, aiding in deployment, storage and transport. The lamp can be easily adjusted up, down or from side to side and locked into position. Included with this LED light tripod is 100 feet of SOOW cord which combined with the 360 degrees of rotation and 90 degrees of tilt offered by the LED light head provides an effective alternative to often cumbersome explosion proof string lights.
The LED light head on this unit measures 16 inches in diameter which allows it to fit through most standard size manholes and entry points. The LED light head can be removed from the tripod, the tripod collapsed, and the entire assembly passed through a manhole and reassembled once inside.
This unit is also multi-voltage capable and can configured to operate on 120-277 volts 50/60 Hz. This lamp is T5 temperature rated and the LED light head retains 80% of its lumen output after 60,000 hours of use, far longer than incandescent or fluorescent lamps. The light head can be removed and used separately from the quadpod for added convenience.
