Larson Electronics
Larson Electronics manufactures the
Magnalight 12 volt spotlights with magnetic base and 12 volt searchlights with magnetic base with magnetic bases and 16 foot cords in Dallas, TX. These
industrial grade 12 volt spotlights
have been a staple of the cable, telephone and electric utility industry since
1967. Magnalight has since its beginnings expanded this to include the military/law enforcement
industries, federal and local governments, and emergency and first responder industries as well.
We carry a complete line of
HID off road and HID
equipment lights, including the Acro Light line.
HID flood lights with
permanent and magnetic mount options work on 12 and 24 volt DC systems and

The Magnalight GAL-HB-150W High Bay light fixture provides operators with a powerful and energy efficient alternative to traditional general area luminaries. LED technology and compact design makes this lamp an excellent energy efficient upgrade option for bulky and high maintenance cost older fixtures.
This 150 watt LED high bay light fixture provides 11,672 lumens of high quality light while drawing only 150 watts and is ideal for use in warehouses, garages, production lines and anywhere an effective and efficient general area lighting solution is needed. An acrylic lens protects the LED light assembly and the copper free aluminum alloy body is powder coated for added durability and an attractive aesthetic appearance. A special heat dissipating design in conjunction with LED technology helps this fixture to achieve an excellent 60,000 hour rated lifespan with 80% lumen retention. A light 17 lbs weight and low profile make this unit an attractive and energy efficient alternative to larger and heavier older light fixtures and requires less hardware to install. |

This high bay LED light is multi-voltage capable and can be operated with 100-277 VAC, 50/60Hz without any need for a special ballast. The aluminum body and LED luminaries give this light excellent durability and resistance to vibration and impacts. The housing is specially designed to dissipate heat which increases the efficiency and lifespan of the LED luminaries. The LED light fixture produces 11,672 lumens of light with a color temperature of 6000K and a color rendering index of 70 which produces colors and details much more accurately than high pressure sodium or mercury vapor luminaries. The LEDs used in this light use less energy and create less heat which reduces energy costs by lowering the amount of electricity needed to both illuminate and cool large areas. The GAL-HB-150 offers several mounting options including ceiling mounting, pendant mounting, wall mounting and cable mounting.

Proof That LED Upgrades Make Dollar Sense
The savings potential here is so great, that even with extreme scrutiny and reluctance to spend on new projects, the school board simply could not ignore the savings potential such an opportunity presented. Not only was the initial cost outlay reduced by 90% with state grants and rebates, and energy costs significantly reduced, but maintenance costs are also projected to be reduced as well since the LEDs will not require replacement for years. LEDs: Industrial Practical and Medical Versatility
While LEDs certainly hold a great deal of potential and promise for medical application, unless there is peer reviewed evidence for support, it is highly doubtful that such unproven therapies are of much benefit. It is probably wisest to not allow the excitement and newness of LED technology to color judgment when it comes to such serious medical conditions and instead defer to established medical practices for effective treatments.
