HID flood lights with
permanent and magnetic mount options work on 12 and 24 volt DC systems and
provide illumination that extends 250 feet. The permanent mount and magnetic

The GAU-400W-TN area light fixture from Magnalight produces 50,000 lumens of light from a compact and attractive fixture housing a single high pressure sodium lamp. This light is approved for use in wet environments and is an ideal lighting solution for parking areas, building exteriors, open lots and anywhere efficient, high powered illumination is needed.
The GAU-400W-TN high pressure sodium area light from Magnalight is suitable for use in wet areas and can be mounted within four feet of the ground. This fixture’s housing is constructed of durable die cast aluminum and finished with an attractive chip and fade resistant polyester powder coating. A flat shock resistant tempered glass door lens protects the bulb and high quality anodized aluminum reflector while a one-piece silicone gasket fitted within a die cast retaining groove provides positive sealing against moisture and rain. The door is secured with stainless steel screws that resist rust and corrosion. The high pressure sodium lamp included with this fixture produces 50,000 initial lumens of light and offers a long operational life of 24,000 hours.

This light is highly durable and produces high light output in a wide flood pattern. The lamp is mounted via an adjustable, polyester powder coated, steel trunnion that allows the operator to adjust the lamp both vertically and horizontally. All hardware on this unit is corrosion resistant and the die-cast aluminum exterior has a dark, polyester powder paint finish. The GAU-400W-TN comes with 3' of STW cord and is Quad Tap, enabling it to operate on multiple voltages including 120, 208, 240 and 277 Volts. The Mogul lamp socket is glazed porcelain and 4kv pulse rated with a nickel plated screw shell and spring loaded contacts. The GAU-400W-TN is suitable for a wide variety of outdoor applications where resistance to water and moisture is necessary and low maintenance and high efficiency is important for keeping operating costs low.
