Larson Electronics
Larson Electronics manufactures the
Magnalight 12 volt spotlights with magnetic base and 12 volt searchlights with magnetic base with magnetic bases and 16 foot cords in Dallas, TX. These
industrial grade 12 volt spotlights
have been a staple of the cable, telephone and electric utility industry since
1967. Magnalight has since its beginnings expanded this to include the military/law enforcement
industries, federal and local governments, and emergency and first responder industries as well.

HID flood lights with

The LED10W-12EX LED Light Bar is ideal for a wide variety of applications including equipment, vehicle, marine, military, law enforcement and industrial manufacturing applications. 10,840 lumens of light output with low voltage and amp draw, a 50,000 hour rated service life, integral thermal management and 9 to 48 volt compatibility provides operators with an extremely durable and powerful LED lighting solution.
The LED10W-12EX LED light bar from Magnalight produces 10,800 lumens of bright light while drawing only 120 watts @10 amps from a 12 volt electrical system. Twelve Seoul Z-power® ten watt LEDs producing a maximum of 900 lumens each are arranged in a row and paired with high purity optics to produce a 10 degree spread spot beam approximately 1,800’ long by 325’ in width. We also offer floodlight versions with a 35 degree beam spread to provide more light over a larger area nearer the fixture, making flood versions ideal for use as work lights. These LED light bars are waterproof to 3 meters, sealed against intrusion by dust and dirt and very ruggedly constructed from machined aluminum to withstand the most demanding environments, conditions and applications.
An integral LED driver board programmed to control heat buildup and and allow user definable light modes, small profile, low power requirements, high durability and a versatile mounting system makes these LED light emitters a superior lighting solution for a wide array of applications including but not limited to: military, industrial manufacturing, machine visioning, security and law enforcement, boating, vehicles and commercial structure illumination. |

Heat Management: Heat is the single largest factor in premature LED failure and color shifting. These LED units contain advanced drivers which monitor the heat output of the LEDs and adjust the current to control heat buildup rather than simple voltage regulators which are typically harsh on sensitive electronics and can contribute to early LED failure. These units in effect automatically sense the temperature of each LED and adjust the the current levels accordingly to maintain heat levels within acceptable ranges. The end result is more light with less heat and longer LED life with higher average lumen maintenance after 50,000 hours.
Advanced Control: The preprogrammed LED drivers in this unit also provide secondary benefits through the ability to connect an external controller and cause the light to flash, dim or brighten as desired. These units are also able to monitor and adjust input current to maintain the correct LED voltage levels regardless of input levels across a specific range. These LEDP10W series light bars can operate on current ranging from 9 to 50VDC without any modifications necessary as a result.

Durability: As well as unparalleled heat control, the LEDP10W series of LED light bars from Magnalight also offer IP68 rated construction that is designed to withstand extremes of environmental and operating conditions. These units can withstand temperature changes of -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius, are waterproof to three meters and resist ingress of dust, dirt and humidity. The housings are formed from machined aluminum and the lenses are unbreakable polycarbonate. The Seoul Z-power® LEDs offer resistance to shocks and vibrations and are rated at 50,000 hours of use.
Mounting: This LED light bar is equipped with a U-shaped trunnion mounting bracket that allows mounting to any flat surface. This bracket allows the user to adjust the light angle by simply loosening the screws located on either side of the lamp, setting the lamp in the desired position, then retightening the screws to lock the unit in place. This mounting system will hold the set position of this unit even under high vibratory conditions.
Note: This LED light fixture is connected to the power source via an included wiring harness and Amphenol connector. The mating Amphenol connector has a 6 inch wire terminated in a 2 pin Deutsch connector. The included wiring harness is terminated in a 2 pin Deutsch plug and includes 20 feet of cable, a relay and a toggle switch. The wiring harness is an additional feature included for convenience and not necessary for installation. Operators can use existing wiring and switches, assuming they are rated for the amperage drawn by this light bar.
Most Magnalight LEDLB, LEDP3W, LEDP10W, and LED10W series LED spotlights and floodlights are terminated with a Deutsch IPD / LADD DT04-2P connector. The mating connector plug is DT06-2S. Most LEDLB and LED10W series lights ship with mating connector as part of a harness or pigtail, depending on the model. Some larger LED lights like the LEDLB-160X2 or LEDLB-200X2 or multiple function LED lights (i.e. high/low beam, modulating, IR/Visible combos) will have different Deutsch connectors.

3 year warranty replacement on this LED light. After 30 days, the customer ships the failed LED light and/or LED bulb to Larson Electronics’ Magnalight at their expense. If the failure is a manufacturer defect, we will ship a new replacement to the customer. If failure occurs within 30 days of receipt, Larson Electronics Magnalight will provide a return label via email to the customer. When the failed light is returned, Magnalight will ship a new replacement. |
