Operation: The 2 motor driven light heads rotate 330 degrees and tilts 330 degrees. This means that the light heads actually go “up and over” providing coverage that includes projecting a beam straight upwards. For utility applications, including telephone and electric bucket truck activities, these lights offer dual utility. Two separate beams enable utility operators to scan more line area quickly and when using the bucket they can point the light beam directly upwards if necessary to illuminate the work area. Finally, the beams also can point nearly straight down to illuminate manholes and ground based work areas.
Remote Control Light Description: The 2 light heads are weather resistant and contain sealed beam lamps. As such the light heads are resistant to weather, water and dust, providing safe, dependable operation in demanding environments on land or water.
Wireless Remote Control: Remote control spotlight includes wireless remote control with multiple frequency settings that allow more than one unit to be used at a single site. This heavy duty wireless remote control is shaped and sized to be used easily even with a glove on. The buttons glow in the dark for easy night use and the "keypad" type of face is completely sealed off from all elements. The wireless remote control includes a belt clip as well. The wireless controller measures approximately 3.5 inches tall by 2.75 inches wide. The wireless remote is effective to 850 feet from the remote controlled spotlight. Wireless controller operates at 303.87 MHz.
A wired controller is also available in the event the wireless controller is unsuitable due to IED detectors or radio based frequencies. The wireless receiver can be removed to eliminate interference. A metal joystick controller with on/off rocker switch is provided for non-wireless units.

Xenoy is used for the outer housing. The Xenoy* alloy is a blend of semi-crystalline polyester (typically polybutylene terephthalate, PBT, or polyethylene terephthalate, PET) and polycarbonate (PC). The Xenoy resin family offers good chemical resistance, great impact resistance even at low temperatures, heat resistance, and outstanding aesthetic and flow characteristics. Xenoy alloys offer outstanding performance in applications that are exposed to harsh conditions, or that require a high degree of toughness.
New Xenoy iQ* resins are created with polybutylene terephthalate (PBT)-based polymers derived from 85% post-consumer plastic waste, consuming less energy and yielding less carbon dioxide (CO2) in their manufacturing than traditional resins.
Balanced chemical and mechanical properties mean that amorphous polycarbonate content provides impact resistance, dimensional stability and heat resistance, while the crystalline polyester structure provides enhanced flow and chemical resistance. High level of impact strength at temperatures down to -40 °F (-40° C). Impact modification provides both low and high temperature durability. Grades include UV stabilized formulations for good weather ability. Smooth part-on-part lubricity for demanding applications. Heat performance sufficient for paint cure up to 130° C.
Stainless steel and Delrin. All internal moving components are made from stainless steel and Delrin (acetal copolymer). The motor assemblies, shafts, brackets and other structural items are made from stainless steel, while the gears are made from a self lubricating grade of Delrin (acetal copolymer). Delrin is a unique resin designed by DuPont and is commonly used as an alternative to steel in applications where saltwater, chemicals and high heat are an issue. Delrin is chemical resistant, oil resistant, saltwater; resistant and maintains its properties in sub zero temperatures (-40 C) and temperatures well over 200 degrees C. These materials are chosen for their ability to provide long lasting durability in inclement environments, making this remote controlled light an ideal solution for mining, oilfield and saltwater applications.
