We carry a complete line of HID off road and HID equipment lights, including the Acro Light line. HID flood lights with permanent and magnetic mount options work on 12 and 24 volt DC systems and provide illumination that extends 250 feet. The permanent mount and magnetic mount HID spotlights project a beam to 3000 feet.

The Magnalight MGL25-8C-480-120V-GFCI Temporary Power Distribution System converts 480 VAC three phase electrical current to single phase 120V AC and 240V AC 60hz. This power distribution system provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 480VAC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. This portable substation is suitable for outdoor applications, with a fully potted transformer and Nema 3R load center. This power distribution system is configured to transform 480V 3 phase to 120/240 Delta, so up to 5% of the capacity (1250 watts) can be used for lighting loads as well.
The MGL25-8C-480-120V-GFI temporary power distribution system provides a safe and reliable way for operators in industrial settings to tap into and utilize power sources independently of the work area. This unit provides an effective power distribution system for operators performing plant turnarounds, maintenance and cleaning in hazardous areas, equipment installations and repairs, and any activities requiring an alternative to native power sources. This portable transformer is designed to operate with 480v, three phase, 60hz which it then steps down to 1ph 120 VAC and 1ph 240 VAC. The power distribution system on this portable substation makes 120VAC available via 6- 20amp, 120v GFCI protected duplex receptacles and 240 VAC available via 2- 30amp, 250v, twist lock receptacles.

Description:
The MGL25-8C-480-120V-GFI portable power distribution substation converts three phase, 480 VAC electrical current to single phase 120V AC and 240V AC via a 25kva transformer (480v to 120/240v, 1ph, 60hz). 50ft of line power cord with a 60amp, 480v, 3 phase /4 wire male plug is included to connect the substation to a primary 480v 3ph primary power supply. A fused disconnect, main on/off switch provides primary line protection and supplies primary power to the 25kva transformer.
Secondary current is wired to a 120/240v, 1 phase, 125 amp load center with main breaker for ciruit protection. 120/240 line out protection is provided by 6 - 20amp, 125 Volt, 1 pole breakers and 2 - 30amp, 250v, 2 pole breakers Connection for 120-240VAC is through receptacles mounted on the side of the substation. Receptacles include 6 - 20amp, 120v, GFCI waterproof duplex receptacles and 2 - 30amp, 250v receptacles. The load center is mounted within Nema 4/12 enclosure ( Optional Glass Door ) for protection against accidental contact, rain, dust, splashing water, and sprayed water.
The transformer and load center/distribution assembly is mounted to a standard steel cart style frame resulting in an extremely stable, durable, and mobile power distribution platform. Two rubber tires and a cart style mounting platform provides easier substation mobility, and a center point lift eye allows easy lifting with cable or chain hooks. This temporary power distribution solution can be modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements. Units are available up to 150kva, and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted.
Applications:
This power distribution system is NEMA 3R rated and ideal for indoor/outdoor use and applications including but not limited to; construction sites, plant maintenance, plant turnarounds, hazardous location operations, shows, exhibits, and shipyard operations. These temporary power distribution systems are popularly used for HAZLOC applications where external power sources are often necessary and work well in combination with explosion proof lights and equipment.
