Larson Electronics manufactures the Magnalight 12 volt spotlights with magnetic base and 12 volt searchlights with magnetic base with magnetic bases and 16 foot cords in Dallas, TX. These industrial grade 12 volt spotlights have been a staple of the cable, telephone and electric utility industry since 1967. Pan and Tilt:  The Gobee has 370 degrees rotation with hard stop. 140 degrees tilt to direct upward beam position

Mount: Magnetic.  The Golight Gobee has a rubber booted base had imbedded small round magnets that provide approximately 20 pounds of magnetic grip.  Rubber base protects vehicle surfaces from damage.  Magnetic base only applicable for stationary applications, as it is not strong enough to hold on moving vehicles.

Voltage:  12 Volts DC appropriate for most consumer vehicles, off road vehicles and small boats

Lamp Wattage: 50 watt halogen bulb rated at 1000 lumens. 

Amp Draw: 4.2 amps on 12 Volts DC

Cord:  Detachable 16 foot cord with Asian style connector and short cigarette plug.  

Beam:  Spotlight beam reaches 450 feet and is 75 feet wide at its widest point.  This is a small light with a small lens and 50 watt bulb.  It is not designed for distance.

GOLIGHT REMOTE CONTROLLED LIGHT REMOTES:

Golight Remote Control Type(s): Wireless.  Radio based, 433 MHz (not infrared). No wiring required. Remotes powered from internal 12 volt batteries (included) that last approximately 1 year.  Golight Gobee remote controls effective to 100 feet through all manner of wall buildings and vehicles. 

Golight Remote Functionality:  4 buttons control up, down, left and right movement of motorized Golight.  Pan and tilt function of the Golight continues while the buttons are depressed. When the operator releases the button, the Golight stops and holds position.  On/off button included on remote.  12 seconds for a full 370 degree rotation and 8 seconds for full tilt on fast mode.  Slow mode is used to pinpoint accuracy at distance and is approximately 35 seconds for full rotation and 20 seconds for one full range tilt. 

Replacement remote controls are readily available.
