The Magnalight LEDT-24W 24 watt T-series LED tube lamp is an excellent choice for upgrading existing fluorescent lamp fixtures to LEDs as well as a direct replacement for our own LED light fixtures.
LED Bulb - T-series - 24 Watts - Works with T5, T8 and T12 fluorescent light fixtures, can be configured for any T series fluorescent bulb fixture and requires no ballast for operation. Internally, you simply bring the black wire to one end and the white wire to the other. The polycarbonate lens diffuses the light and makes this bulb ideal for food safe environments as there is no glass. The aluminum housing serves as a heat sink and provides rigidity and strength for this LED bulb. These LED light tubes can also be plugged directly into fluorescent light fixtures with magnetic ballasts, which makes them an ideal upgrade for older T12 fluorescent lights with magnetic ballasts.
In fluorescent light fixtures with electronic ballasts, the operator needs to bypass the ballast and wire the power directly to one or both ends of the LED tube (black wire to one end and white wire to the other). Thus, this is an ideal upgrade for 4 foot fixtures with failed ballasts. These multi-voltage LED fluorescent bulbs run directly off any voltage ranging from 110 volts to 277 volts, including 120 volts, 230 volts, 277 volts, etc. We now offer 12/24 volt LED T-series bulbs as well.

Lumen output is 90 lumens per watt for a total of 2,160 lumens per bulb.
These LED fluorescent tube replacements can be used as upgrades or replacements to our own Magnalight.com explosion proof fluorescent lights, explosion proof paint spray booth lights as well as any other T series light fixture the operator already has in house. We have specially designed these for our explosion proof light fixtures, however, they can be used as replacements in standard fluorescent light fixtures. The savings potential here is so great, that even with extreme scrutiny and reluctance to spend on new projects, the school board simply could not ignore the savings potential such an opportunity presented. As of this writing, OSHA has yet to institute a solid set of standards for combustible dusts. Many officials adopt NFPA recommendations into their local fire codes as a result in order to attempt some level of regulatory standards across a broad spectrum. Whether or not any meaningful regulation emerges from OSHA in the near future, it is best that any industry or commercial operation associated with combustible dusts be preemptive and adhere to any local regulations as well as adopt their own m [...]
Confined space lighting must also provide the widest possible coverage of the workspace and be bright enough and of high enough quality to allow trouble free visual determinations. Colors need to be rendered correctly and light levels must be high enough to allow normal activity without the need for compensation through slowed operations and overly repetitive verifications. Other considerations for confided space lighting include keeping heat production to a minimum, hands free operation, durabi [...]
