Larson Electronics manufactures the Magnalight 12 volt spotlights with magnetic base and 12 volt searchlights with magnetic base with magnetic bases and 16 foot cords in Dallas, TX. These industrial grade 12 volt spotlights have been a staple of the cable, telephone and electric utility industry since 1967. The wired dash mount remote control has a 20 foot cord and uses a joystick control to position the light. Dual speed control of the motorized rotation and tilt. This is an ideal feature for remote operation conditions where the operator cannot see the angle of the beam from the driver's seat. The dash mount controller has a power toggle switch and light on/off button. Power connects to unit via 1 foot cord to be connected to existing vehicle/boat harness or additional 16 gauge wire to fuse box.

The GL-2021-M-RT has a wired remote control. There are no wireless components enabled in this unit. For those military or related applications where radio communications conflict may be an issue, this is your best bet.
