We carry a complete line of HID off road and HID equipment lights, including the Acro Light line. HID flood lights with permanent and magnetic mount options work on 12 and 24 volt DC systems and provide illumination that extends 250 feet. The permanent mount and magnetic mount HID spotlights project a beam to 3000 feet.

This Acro HID Off Road Spotlight produces a modified spot beam pattern. This means that the unit will produce a beam that is much like the spot beam itself, with the exception that a percentage of the length of the beam will be reduced in order to provide a much wider beam. Unlike the flood, the modified spot will still reach lengths of 1700' + but will have a narrower beam than the flood. The approximate beam pattern dimensions are 1700'L X 175'W. Common applications for the HID-X970-M include off road vehicles, heavy duty equipment, boating and marine use, as well as various hunting applications.
The HID Off Road Modified Spotlight is constructed of heavy duty cast aluminum with a chrome and black finish. The unit is completely sealed to prevent water or dust from entering. The HID light is completely weatherproof and can be explosed to various weather conditions such as rain, snow, high winds, sleet, and hail. The X970 series spotlights are exceptionally durable.

Note: Included wiring harness is for 12 volt systems only. Typically, 24 volt systems, including most heavy equipment installations, have existing wiring harnesses with toggle switches that are properly rated for these lights. The 12 volt system includes a relay which handles the initial surge (12-13Amps) in 12 volt systems. This surge is not an issue on 24 volt systems. The relay and switch are only rated for 12 Volts.
