HID work light uses arc lamp technology to produce high power light output. Arc lamps do not have a filament, instead an arc jumps across 2 electrodes, igniting gas (metal halide or Xenon) trapped within the bulb. Because there is no filament to break, HID bulbs tend to last several thousand hours of run time.
Work light kit include carrying case, HID work light, detachable 21 foot cord, 4.5 Ah battery with 70 minute run time, AC charger for battery and carrying strap
12/24 volt HID work light is hard wired to 12/24 volt vehicle system via detachable 21 foot cord and choice of ring terminals, battery clamps or cigarette plug.
HID work light has 3.75 inch diameter magnet with 150 pounds of magnetic grip
35W Xenon 43K bulb HID bulb, 3200 lumens - produces 2700 lux at 25 feet (4 D-cell Maglite produces 280 lux at 25 feet)
Heavy-duty cast aluminum head with composite handle and base
Easy to use sliding on/off switch
Direct connect to vehicle power via detachable 21 foot cord with 2 X 3/8-inch ring terminals to 12 volt system or 24 volt system (work light is compatible with 12V and 24V simultaneously)
70 minute run time on rechargeable battery that can be plugged in when direct connection to vehicle battery is not necessary
Charge cord plugs directly into the rechargeable battery (HiD work light can be in use via direct connection while spare battery is charging separately) – average recharge time is 4 hours
Led charging indicator on battery; red indicates charging, green indicates fully charge
Head pivots from right angle 90 degrees to straight 180 degrees with the push of a button (no tools needed)
Dimensions: lens is 5 inches in diameter; when positioned in the 90 degree angle, the unit stands 12 inches high; when fully extended, the unit is 15.5 inches in length
Lens focus ring adjusts approximately 1/4 turn for focus adjustment to beam pattern from narrow spot pattern to wider flood pattern
Compact high intensity discharge ballast incorporated into lamp housing for portable, light weight use
Dust and water resistant design
HID lights produces more light output that conventional lighting with less than 50 percent the power consumption
Average current draw @12 VDC: Start: 12.2 amps, Run: 3.3amp (reaches run current draw in under 60 seconds)
Average current draw @ 24 VDC: Start 6.1 amps Run: 1.65 amps (reaches run current draw in under 60 seconds)
