| Portable Explosion Proof Tank Light (UL Class 1 Division 1 Groups C & D) with 400 Watt metal halide lamp, providing 20,000 square foot of coverage with 75,000 lumens of light output. This tank light is 23 7/8 inches in diameter so it can fit into 24 inch manholes for cleaning tanks or vessels in the petrochemical industry or cleaning out fuel cells in the marine industry. This tank light has an aluminum cart with wheels and is designed to be taken apart, passed through a 24 inch manhold and then set up and positioned by the operator to illuminate the tank. In other words, the lamp can be removed from the cart and passed through the manhole. Then, the cart can be passed through the manhole. The 400 watt metal halide tank light can be re-assembled and positioned in the tank for best working conditions. This was designed specifically for tank cleaning and maintenance applications as an alternative to string lights. While explosion proof string lights are effective, they can be cumbersome in some environments. The tank light represents a single, mobile light source that can be positioned and maintained while illuminating the entire tank.

This portable, explosion proof tank light is equipped with a 250 foot SOOW (chemical, oil and abrasive resistant) cord so that floodlight can be productively positioned in the tank. This tank light can be configured to operate on 120 volts 50/60 hz (Americas) or 230/240 volts (international).
This explosion proof tank light illuminates over 20,000 square feet with a beam projection of over 500ft.
Fixture rotates 360 degrees and offers vertical positioning to 90 degrees.
This portable tank light fixture has a stamped, aluminum lamp guard protector grid and replaceable Plexiglas lens. The plexiglass lens reduces the need to replace and/or clean the lamp directly. The plexiglass can be removed, cleaned of debris and replaced.
