With a weight of only 1.9 lbs., unique, visibility-maximizing LED taillights, lithium-ion battery technology, and a bright beam, the RUL-10 redefines what you should expect from a handheld LED lantern with spotlight pattern.
Lantern incorporates two industry firsts; a rechargeable lithium ion battery and battery status indicator.
The lithium ion battery pack allows the lantern to be 20 percent of the weight of the Streamlight Litebox - a big plus for firefighters whose basic equipment can weigh 65-70 pounds.
Lithium ion technology provides a higher and more consistent level of brightness over battery run time. The benefit of lithium ion is that users will experience a long lasting battery with no memory issues, 18 month shelf life per charge and extremely lightweight.
The battery status indicator activates when there is 30 minutes of light remaining. This feature compliments the lithium ion technology by monitoring battery status allowing the user to effectively manage their time.
Lantern also features red and white taillight LEDs strategically configured to offer maximum visibility. The lantern also has a pivoting head so you can direct light where needed.
