Larson Electronics manufactures the Magnalight 12 volt spotlights with magnetic base and 12 volt searchlights with magnetic base with magnetic bases and 16 foot cords in Dallas, TX. These industrial grade 12 volt spotlights have been a staple of the cable, telephone and electric utility industry since 1967. Industrial grade, very heavy duty pan and tilt base offers wired remote controller and wireless remote control.

The all cast aluminum, black powder coated unit rotates 370 degrees and tilts 140 degrees.   This remote controlled base holds its position.  There is no "slop" in the gears. 

8 inch by 10 inch top mounting plate had a variety of mounting patterns to support lights, cameras, antennaes, etc.  This remote controlled pan tilt platform supports payloads to 100 pounds.

Unit runs on 12 volts or 24 volts.  Power cord and controlled remote connected via OEM vehicle style connectors.

AMP 10-SL connector available as alternative power source.

Wired remote control has a 25 foot cord. The remote sits at 10 feet from the cigarette plug end and 15 feet from the pan tilt base. It can be used as a handheld or mounted to a dash.  4 push buttons control direction of the base.  Separate on/off button.

Wireless remote control can be used as a key chain fob.  The wireless remote is battery operated and also has 4 push buttons and an on/off button.

When using the wireless remotes, the remotes can be set to different frequencies. When on the same frequency, one can move multiple units off one remote control. When set to different frequency, the remote will independently move only the pan tilt base it is designated to. 

This remote controlled pan tilt base can be used to mount High Intensity Discharge (HID) lights, cameras, antennaes or any other piece of equipment to 100 pounds.

Unit stands 10 inches tall, 10 inches wide and 8 inches deep.  Remote controlled pan tilt platform weighs 29 pounds.
