Larson Electronics
Larson Electronics manufactures the
Magnalight 12 volt spotlights with magnetic base and 12 volt searchlights with magnetic base with magnetic bases and 16 foot cords in Dallas, TX. These
industrial grade 12 volt spotlights
have been a staple of the cable, telephone and electric utility industry since
1967. Magnalight has since its beginnings expanded this to include the military/law enforcement
industries, federal and local governments, and emergency and first responder industries as well.

HID flood lights with

The LM-20-4X1000W Light Tower from Magnalight is an 20 foot extendable light tower equipped with four metal halide light fixtures producing approximately 100,000 lumens each. The four 1,000 watt metal halide lamps produce a wide spread of intense white light, allowing this unit to effectively cover large work areas with high quality illumination.
Magnalights’ LM-20-4X1000W telescoping steel light tower allows operators to quickly and safely deploy 4,000 watts of metal halide lighting in locations where elevated illumination is needed for maximum area coverage. This two section light boom can be extended to 20 feet for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 10 feet and lowered into a horizontal position for transport or stowage. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a lower section 12 feet in length and 4 inches in diameter and an upper section 10 feet in length and 3 inches in diameter. The mast is elevated using an included 1,000 lbs hand winch with 1/4 inch cable and extended to its full height using a second 1,000 lbs winch. |

Included with this light tower are four of our wet area suitable HID-22-SL-rem metal halide fixtures producing a combined total of approximately 400,000 lumens at 4,000 watts. These lamps have 19” reflectors and are constructed of aluminum with a clear tempered glass lens which is secured into place with a heavy duty gasket and single ring lock. These floodlights produce a wide flood light pattern capable of illuminating approximately 5 acres. Each floodlight is securely fastened to the light boom and each lamp includes a support bracket to help maintain lamp stability within its housing. The lamps are connected to the power source via a water tight male pin connector that attaches to a receptacle located on the end of the telescoping boom.
These light masts are typically mounted to trailers or other stable surfaces via a 12 inch square, 1/2 inch thick mounting base-plate which has been drilled to accept four mounting bolts (3/4 inch). A 24 inch wide and 1/4 inch thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for the four metal halide fixtures. This light tower when lowered to 10 feet can withstand winds up to 125 mph. We can equip this mast with 1000W or 1500W Metal Halide lights or a wide variety of high powered LED lights with comparable power. We also offer a choice of either the manual 1,000 lbs hand winches included standard or optional electric winches.
