We carry a complete line of HID off road and HID equipment lights, including the Acro Light line. HID flood lights with permanent and magnetic mount options work on 12 and 24 volt DC systems and provide illumination that extends 250 feet. The permanent mount and magnetic mount HID spotlights project a beam to 3000 feet.

The Magnalight BL40-LED LED blasting light offers high light output and extreme durability combined with versatile magnetic mounting and power options. This IP68 rated LED blasting light is waterproof to three meters and produces 7,200 lumens while drawing only 120 watts of power @10 amps from a 12 volt electrical system. This light can run on any voltage from 9 to 42 volts and an included inline transformer allows operation with common 120VAC household current as well.
The BL40-LED LED blasting light from Magnalight produces a flood of light 375 feet long by 260 feet wide with 7,200 lumens of bright light while drawing only 120 watts @10 amps from a 12 volt electrical system. Optional 10 degree spot beam versions are available that produce a beam 1350' long by 330' wide. Forty Edison Edixeon® Emitters containing CREE EZBright® three watt LEDs producing 180 lumens each are paired with high purity 35 degree optics to produce a powerful flood of light ideal for work in blasting applications.
These LED blasting lights are IP68 rated and waterproof to 3 meters, sealed against intrusion by dust and dirt and very ruggedly constructed to withstand the most demanding environments, conditions and applications. These units are constructed of extruded aluminum and feature heavier housings, rubber isolated standard mounts and unbreakable polycarbonate lenses to provide increased durability against vibrations, impacts, and the harsh conditons of blasting operations. This light is equipped with a 300lbs grip magnetic mount base and a 50 foot cord to provide ample mounting versatility. This magnetic base allows fast and easy setup of this light and will hold the fixture in place even under high vibration conditions.
This low voltage light is equipped with a DCP-11-DP inline transformer which allows these units to be operated with standard 120V-277V AC current commonly found in wall outlets. This unit can also be unplugged from the transformer and run directly from 9-42 volts DC, allowing it to be operated from any vehicle or equipment's electrical system. We also offer this light with an amber light output to enhance the penetration in low visibility (due to steam or particulates) environments. Heat Management: Heat is the single largest factor in premature LED failure and color shifting. As a result, many manufacturers reduce the output of their LEDs to reduce the amount of heat produced. These LED light bars utilize an extruded aluminum housing that incorporates an advanced heat radiating fin design which dissipates heat efficiently to produce the maximum amount of power and longevity from the integrated Edison Edixeon® Emitters. The end result is more light and longer LED life with higher average lumen maintenance after 50,000 hours.
Voltage Control: These units are able to monitor and adjust input current to maintain the correct LED voltage levels regardless of input levels across a specific range. These light bars can operate on current ranging from 9 to 42VDC without any modifications necessary as a result. This multi-voltage capability makes these units ideal for mobile and stand alone applications such as those found on commercial boats, heavy equipment and vehicles where power systems don’t always operate with 12 volts and external generators, transformers or inverters are impractical. This particular blasting light is equipped with our DCP-11-DP transformer which allows operators to simply plug the unit into any standard wall outlet equipped with 120-277VAC, or they can unplug the transformer and connect the light directly to a 9-42VDC power source.

Durability: This series of LED blasting lights from Magnalight offer IP68 rated construction that is designed to withstand extremes of environmental and operating conditions. These units can withstand rapid temperature changes of -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius, are waterproof to three meters, and resist ingress of dust, dirt and humidity. The housings are formed from thick extruded aluminum and the lenses are unbreakable polycarbonate. The Edixeon® LEDs offer inherent LED resistance to shocks and vibrations contributing to these units 15.6Grms rating of vibration tolerance. We recommend these LED lights for high stress - high vibratory conditions, high humidity climates, very cold areas and rough saltwater conditions. They are also well suited to environments where equipment is used in one temperature extreme and stored in another temperature extreme.
Protective Mylar covers are available to protect the lens faceplate and catch overspray in coating applications. The adhesive backed Mylar lens covers can be peeled off and replaced easily.
Mounting: The three 100 lbs magnets and trunnion mounting design on the BL40-LED LED blasting light allows for easy fixture placement and post-placement angle positioning. This means that by loosening 2 thumb bolts located on either side of the light, the operator can adjust the positioning angle of this light 270 degrees. Then he/she would simply have to tighten thumb bolts to lock the angle in place. No tools are required for adjusting angle. This mounting system makes this unit ideal for vehicle and equipment lighting applications where the unit can simply be attached or removed as needed.
Note: Most Magnalight LEDLB, LEDP3W, LEDP10W, and LED10W series LED spotlights and floodlights are terminated with a Deutsch IPD / LADD DT04-2P connector. The mating connector plug is DT06-2S. Most LEDLB and LED10W series lights ship with mating connector as part of a harness or pigtail, depending on the model. Some larger LED lights like the LEDLB-160X2 or LEDLB-200X2 or multiple function LED lights (i.e. high/low beam, modulating, IR/Visible combos) will have different Deutsch connectors. This particular blasting light is equipped with our DCP-11-DP transformer which allows operators to simply plug the unit into any standard wall outlet equipped with 120-277VAC, or they can unplug the transformer and connect the light directly to a 9-42VDC power source.

3 year warranty replacement on this LED light. After 30 days, the customer ships the failed LED light and/or LED bulb to Larson Electronics’ Magnalight at their expense. If the failure is a manufacturer defect, we will ship a new replacement to the customer. If failure occurs within 30 days of receipt, Larson Electronics Magnalight will provide a return label via email to the customer. When the failed light is returned, Magnalight will ship a new replacement.
