This hazardous location LED light can be configured for low voltage applications, including 12 and 24 volts DC, and high voltage, ranging from 120 volts to 277 volts AC. This LED light fixture typically ships with inverted L shape brackets, which enable the operator to surface mount the light. Alternatively, a sliding bracket mount is available so operators can retrofit this LED light fixture to use the pre-existing mounting holes from other fluorescent fixtures. This Class 1 Division II LED light fixture is weatherproof and appropriate for open air areas that have the occasional presence of flammable petrochemical vapors. Often, these lights are used in hazardous location areas that are adjacent to an area where those vapors are present all the time (where Class 1, Division 1 rated lights are required).

Lamp Features:
The LED tube bulbs are physically the same as a typical T series fluorescent bulb. However, no ballast is required and the bulbs need only be wired at one end. The current generation of Magnalight LED T-series style bulbs produce 40% more light than our HAL-48-2L-T5HO fixture outfitted with two 60 watt T5HO bulbs. These LED bulbs operate well in extreme temperatures and given their solid state design, they are completely vibration proof. The standard LED bulb color is 5600K.
In this case, the LED lamps themselves are multi-voltage, since there is no ballast.

Twist access latches then enables the operator to open the hinged access glass door and change the bulbs.
Standard Bracket Mounts:
Each bracket is cinched to the bracket mounting peg on each side of the light. The angle of the bracket is set by tightening two cap screws on either side of the bracket. The cap screws serve as set screws. The bracket itself is mounted via a single bolt hole at the top the bracket. There are two brackets, one on each end of the light. Once the brackets are mounted to a surface (ceiling, floor or wall), the light fixture can be removed from the brackets by loosening the cap screws that hold the bracket to the mounting peg.
Mounting brackets are removable. A single through hole enables the operator to install the light to any surface.

3 year warranty replacement on this LED light (or LED bulbs for light fixtures with removable LED bulbs). After 30 days, the customer ships the failed LED light and/or LED bulb to Larson Electronics’ Magnalight at their expense. If the failure is a manufacturer defect, we will ship a new replacement to the customer. If failure occurs within 30 days of receipt, Larson Electronics Magnalight will provide a return label via email to the customer. When the failed light is returned, Magnalight will ship a new replacement.
