Larson Electronics manufactures the Magnalight 12 volt spotlights with magnetic base and 12 volt searchlights with magnetic base with magnetic bases and 16 foot cords in Dallas, TX. These industrial grade 12 volt spotlights have been a staple of the cable, telephone and electric utility industry since 1967. Magnalight has since its beginnings expanded this to include the military/law enforcement industries, federal and local governments, and emergency and first responder industries as well.
We carry a complete line of HID off road and HID equipment lights, including the Acro Light line. HID flood lights with permanent and magnetic mount options work on 12 and 24 volt DC systems and provide illumination that extends 250 feet. The permanent mount and magnetic mount HID spotlights project a beam to 3000 feet.

 Infrared LED Lights: Magnalight infrared (IR) LED emitters use a patent pending LED configurations and proprietary optics technology to provide a high powered, covert IR light source. LED IR emitters enhance night vision capabilities for military personnel for infrared vehicle lighting, security lighting applications and covert general area IR lighting. Magnalight LED IR emitters can be configured for 850nm IR light, 940nm IR light or a combination of visible and IR LED lighting. Magnalight LED based infrared lighting generates light energy only in the configured wavelength. More traditional covert IR lighting utilizes cut off lenses to block the visible light, while enabling only specific wavelengths to pass through the filter lens. LED infrared lighting is more efficient because all of the light energy from the LEDs is utilized. Finally, with IR LED lighting, there is no possibility of visible light leakage that occur if a cut off lens or related seals are broken.
Each infrared LED light is manufactured with an extruded aluminum housing, machined aluminum mounts and stainless steel hardware for strength, durability and weather resistance (IP67). Low profile LED infrared LED lights are applicable for mounting in tight spaces where traditional lights would not fit or where larger format lights would block mounted equipment. The www.magnalight.com infrared LED lights operate natively on 9-42 Volts DC. We provide NEMA 4X waterproof transformers that will enable these infrared LED lights to operate from 120V-277VAC.
Magnalight emitter bars are unique because of the patent pending technology that pairs a reflector with each LED. Typically LEDs are mounted against a surface and "glow". This glow is often effective at close range, but the light energy drops off rapidly. By pairing each LED with a proprietary optic, the emitted light energy is projected outward, so that the "drop off" in light energy does not occur until much greater distances. This IR emitter produces a wide spot pattern (or a modified spot pattern) which falls in between a narrow spot and a flood pattern.
