Instructions for programming different channels on a GoLight wireless remote control spotlight
Often times, users of the GoLight will have multiple Golight remote control spotlight within range of the same Golight transmitter. This includes scenarios where a single truck has 2 Golight remote control spotlights installed. Use of a single transmitter will move both Golight wireless remote control spotlights synchronously. The step by step instructions below will enable users to use two or more Golight wireless remote control simultaneously by setting separate channels for each Golight.
Assuming that there are 2 Golight wireless remote control spotlights, let's call one Golight 1 (with transmitter 1) and the other Golight 2 (with transmitter 2)
Disconnect power from both Golight wireless remote control spotlights.
Locate dipswitches in the battery compartment of transmitter1.
Set switches in any sequence. Remember the sequence, as you will need to repeat this process using a different sequence on transmitter2.
Hold down on/off button on transmitter1 and re-connect the power to the Golight wireless remote control spotlight 1.
Continue holding down on/off button for 3-5 seconds.
Golight wireless remote control spotlight 1 is now reprogrammed.
Disconnect power from both Golight wireless remote control spotlights.
Locate dipswitches in the battery compartment of transmitter2.
Set switches in any sequence. Remember to use a sequence that is different than the sequence used in transmitter1.
Hold down on/off button on transmitter1 and re-connect the power to the Golight wireless remote control spotlight 2.
Continue holding down on/off button for 3-5 seconds.
Golight wireless remote control spotlight 2 is now reprogrammed.
Re-connect power to both Golight wireless remote control spotlights and test.
The pattern remains the same for any additional Golight wireless remote control spotlights. |
