Larson Electronics’ Magnalight manufactures and carries an extensive line of 24 volt lighting equipment that ranges from 12/24 volt spotlights and floodlights to multimillion candlepower searchlights and industrial grade work lights. We carry a wide array of LED lighting options that are capable of operating on a wide range of voltages including 12 and 24 volts without modifications. We also carry 24 volt specific lighting equipment that is ideal for use on vehicles, boats, military vehicles and heavy equipment that operate with 24 volt electrical systems. Many of our 12 volt lights are also 24 volt compatible or can be modified to operate with 24 volt electrical systems. Magnalight 24 Volt Lighting Equipment Information
Magnalight 24 volt spotlights, floodlights, LED lights, equipment lights and boat lights are designed to work with electrical systems that produce 24 VDC electrical current. Attempting to operate 12 volt only lights with electrical systems that produce 24 volts will damage the lights, either burning out the bulbs or ruining the internal electronics. Lights chosen for use with 24 volt electrical systems must be 24 volt rated, capable of operating on both 12 and 24 volts systems, or have some manner of power transformer included to supply the appropriate voltage. 24 volt electrical systems are most commonly found on military armored and non armored vehicles, boats, ships and some heavy equipment. All Magnalight 24 volt lighting equipment is properly configured and rated for use with 24 volts electrical systems. Magnalight can configure many of the lights available here to operate on either 12 or 24 volts depending upon customer requirements.
